About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Goudri ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use PDFWelder on iPhone or iPad, contact us, or visit this website.

Information PDFWelder may handle

The app handles three limited categories of information:

• Information stored on your device: Your documents, history, app preferences, saved signatures, and information you choose to remember for forms stay on your device. Goudri cannot access this information.
• Optional usage analytics: If you choose to share analytics, PDFWelder sends limited information about app use, such as the app version, language, theme, subscription status, features used, and whether an action succeeded. This information is pseudonymous, which means it is connected to a random app identifier rather than your name or account.
• Optional crash diagnostics: If you choose to share crash reports, PDFWelder may send the device model, operating system and app versions, performance details, and technical information about a crash. We do not intentionally include document content or file names in these reports.

Firebase may also receive standard device and network information, including a coarse region. PDFWelder does not collect your precise location.

Your analytics and diagnostics choices

PDFWelder asks once whether to share usage analytics and crash reports. Both are optional, and you can turn each one on or off separately in Settings. You can use the app if you decline.

You can change each choice at any time in PDFWelder Settings. Turning a choice off stops future collection for that category from the app. These services are provided by Google Firebase. Learn more in the Firebase privacy information and Google Privacy Policy.

PDFWelder does not use advertising identifiers, show targeted advertising, or track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Subscriptions

Apple processes payments for PDFWelder PRO. Goudri does not receive your payment card details. RevenueCat helps show subscription options and confirm your PRO access. For this purpose, RevenueCat receives a random app identifier and limited product, purchase, and subscription status information.

Subscription information is handled under the Apple Privacy Policy and RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

Camera and photo access

PDFWelder uses the camera only when you choose to scan a document. It accesses photos only when you choose images to add or edit. Camera input and selected photos are processed on your device and are not uploaded to Goudri.

How we use limited information

We use limited information only to:

• Provide the app and confirm access to PDFWelder PRO.
• Understand app use when you have agreed to analytics.
• Find crashes and improve reliability when you have agreed to diagnostics.
• Reply when you contact support.
• Protect the service, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations.

Legal reasons for processing

Depending on where you live, we rely on your consent for optional analytics and crash diagnostics, on the need to provide your requested app and subscription features, on legitimate interests such as security and support, and on legal obligations. You can withdraw consent at any time in PDFWelder Settings.

Website privacy

This website is hosted by Netlify. Like most hosting services, Netlify may process basic request information such as your IP address, browser or device type, requested page, and time of access to deliver and protect the site. See the Netlify Privacy Statement.

The website stores only your light or dark theme preference in your browser. Goudri does not use website analytics, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels on this site.

Data sharing

We share limited information only with Apple, RevenueCat, Firebase, and Netlify for the purposes described in this policy, with the website you ask Website to PDF to fetch, or when required by law. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

Data retention and deletion

Documents and working data created in PDFWelder remain on your device until you remove them. Deleting the app stops future analytics and diagnostics collection from that installation.

Optional analytics and diagnostic information is kept under Firebase's retention controls and is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer needed. Subscription records may be kept as long as needed to provide PRO access, handle transactions or disputes, and meet legal obligations. Support messages are kept only as long as needed to answer your request and maintain reasonable support records.

To request access to or deletion of information held by Goudri, email contact@goudri.com. Because PDFWelder has no user accounts and Goudri does not receive your documents, we may need limited information from you to locate a support, subscription, or pseudonymous record. Some records controlled by Apple or another provider may need to be managed directly with that provider.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the use of your personal information, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, or complain to your local data protection authority. You will not receive different service or pricing for using a privacy right, except where the information is needed to provide a feature you request.

Contact contact@goudri.com to make a request. We may ask for enough information to confirm and complete the request, and we will respond as required by applicable law.

International processing

Firebase, RevenueCat, Apple, and Netlify may process limited information in countries other than the one where you live. When required, they use legal safeguards for international transfers as described in their privacy terms.

Security

Keeping document content on your device limits what Goudri can access. Limited information sent to the providers listed above is protected in transit. We and our providers use reasonable safeguards, but no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children

PDFWelder is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum age required by local law. Goudri does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact contact@goudri.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when PDFWelder, our providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy here, change the date at the top, and provide additional notice in the app when appropriate.
